Does Therapy Work?

There is a large body of evidence that demonstrates the effectiveness of psychotherapy. It is also important to keep in mind that there are many different approaches to therapy, and some types of therapy (and therapists themselves) are not always the best fit for some individuals. I will do my best to be attuned to this throughout our work together, and I welcome you to openly share your thoughts and feelings about this with me as well. If my style of therapy is not a good fit for you, I am open to hearing this feedback and will be more than willing to provide you with referrals to a different therapist in the community if you prefer.
